Simple. Transparent. Fair.

We’re paid mainly through commissions from insurers for the advice, placement, and support we provide you. Most policies may include a capped fee, which we always disclose upfront.

If your situation calls for a different approach, your broker will work with you to set a fee that matches the level of service you need.

Our goal is to make how we get paid clear, consistent, and easy to understand.

Our Standard Fees

$20

Standard Insurances Policies

These are our most common domestic insurance policies, including boats, vehicles, travel, and personal assets. Each comes with a simple, flat $20 policy fee, keeping things straightforward and transparent while providing consistent support across all your standard insurance needs.

$50

Business Insurance Policies

These policies support the needs of New Zealand businesses across liability, property, cyber, travel, and specialised commercial risks. Each policy carries a simple, flat $50 fee, designed to keep pricing clear and consistent. Whether you’re protecting your assets, managing liability exposures, or insuring key projects, we provide transparent fees and dependable support across all your business insurance needs.

$30

Insurances Policies that include a House

These policies cover your home; whether you live in it, rent it out, or insure both the building and its contents together. Each policy includes a simple, flat fee, with clear, transparent pricing and the same consistent support you can expect across all your household insurance needs.

$100+

Bundled or More Complex Business Policies

These policies cover larger, more complex business needs—such as fleets, multi‑policy bundles, and specialised commercial programmes. Because these require additional time, coordination, and expertise, a minimum fee of $100 applies. Your broker will set the final fee relative to the scale and complexity of the work, ensuring it remains fair, transparent, and aligned with the level of service your business needs.

Our Average Commission.

The tables below show the typical range of commissions we receive from insurers across different policy types.

For each category, we’ve outlined the lowest, average, and highest commission percentages to give you a clear view of how we are remunerated for arranging and servicing your insurance.

We’ll also disclose any commission as a dollar figure in the important information section of any quote or invoice.

These ranges also reflect differences between insurers and policy structures.
